1.7225 steel is applied to gears, piston pins, crankshafts,and shafts.It is usually used for a variety of applications in the oil and gas sector. Examples of applications for 1.7225 steel also include pump shafts,conveyor pins,connection rods, collets,tool holders and stem assemblies.
1)Preheat DIN 1.7225 forged alloy steel carefully.
2)Raise the forging temperature up to 1150-1200°C.
3)Keep the forging temperature above 850°C during the process.
1) Heating 1.7225 steel uniformly to 840-875°C;
2)1.7225 alloy steel should be quenched in the oil;
3)Heat the material to the temperature 550-650°C;
4)Soak at this temperature for at least 2 hours;
5)1.7225 alloy steel should be cooled in the air or furnace.
1)Heating 1.7225 forged steel thoroughly to 800-850°C;
2)Cool slowly to the temperature 480°;
3)Complete annealing the steel in the air.
1)heat the steel until the temperature up to 860-880°C;
2)Then cool 1.7225 steel down to the room temperature in the air.
